Project Summary
Goodwill is recognized nationally for its thrift stores, but few people know about the nonprofit's most important work: the organization works within local communities to help people overcome obstacles to employment through job training programs and placement assistance.
To get this story heard, I helped the Central Coast chapter write new messaging for their website and provided content strategy direction, helping the design team determine the best layout and navigation structure for the content. This was challenging as the nonprofit offers multiple types of employment programs in addition to donation services, environmental stewardship, and retail.
